Olivia Attwood 'pulls out of Love Island doc filming after signing up for I'm A Celeb'

Olivia Attwood has reportedly decided against appearing in a rumoured documentary that will discuss Love Island after allegedly signing up for this year's I'm a Celebrity.

The reality TV star, 31, rose to fame on the popular ITV2 series in 2017 and has continued to work with ITV since – including appearing on TOWIE and having her own shows.

It's been claimed that she had been "toying with the idea" of taking part in a rumoured Channel 4 exposé about reality TV, which is expected to feature former Love Islanders.

She's said to have dropped out of the project–- which is set to see former Islanders share behind-the-scenes information – after reportedly signing up to do I'm a Celebrity next month.

A source told The Sun : "The producers of [the Channel 4] documentary really wanted Olivia to sit down with them and give them all the insider information on the show's secrets".

They said that filming began last week and despite Olivia having been a "big draw" for producers, she hasn't been among those taking part as she allegedly turned it down.

"Initially she was toying with the idea of taking part, but after she landed a spot on I'm A Celebrity, she made up her mind not to be involved," the source commented.

They added that she has "very lucrative deals" with ITV, including her series Getting Filthy Rich - so she didn't consider it a "good idea" to appear in the documentary.

It's not the only ITV project that she has appeared in recent years, having taken part in other shows like ITV2's Celebrity Karaoke Club and ITVBe series Olivia Meets Her Match.

And it is now rumoured that she will become the first Love Island star to take part in I'm a Celebrity, which is returning to the jungle in Australia for its new series next month.

Addressing the claim that she had 'pulled out' of the Channel 4 documentary, Olivia said in a post on Twitter this evening: "I was never in? I was never approached/nor would I of been interested".

Olivia appeared on the third series of the revived Love Island, which aired in 2017. She had been coupled up with Chris Hughes, now 29, for much of her time in the villa.

They made it to the final, where they placed third. Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay, both now 26, won the series, whilst Camilla Thurlow, now 33, and Jamie Jewitt, now 32, were runners-up.

The Mirror approached Olivia's reps, Channel 4 and ITV for comment.
