Phillip Schofield parties WITHOUT Holly Willoughby as co-host sneaks out of NTAs early

The National Television Awards always throws up one big hangover the following day as stars binge drink well into the night - and this year looks to have been no different.

While it was notably a tamer affair, there were still a number of award winners and event-goers alike spotted stumbling from afterparties in London following Thursday's ceremony at the OVO Arena - but usual party attendees Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were nowhere to be seen together at this year's boozy afterparties.

The This Morning presenters received a mixed reaction as NTA for Best Daytime Show for the fifth year in a row on Thursday night [October 13], but Holly apparently left the star-studded ceremony early after their win - reportedly sneaking out and heading home around 10pm.

While Holly got an early night, plenty of other celebrities partied hard - including her co-host Phil, who was all smiles as he left the event without his pal.

This Morning presenter Holly and Phil are well known to have enjoyed an afterparty tipple in the past and have presented their morning-after show hungover on a number of occasions - much to the delight of viewers.

But it seems amid the ongoing Queue-gate still rumbling on, Holly was in no mood to celebrate with a boozy night on the tiles.

According to The Sun she was spotted heading for the exit in her beautiful black gown before the final award after receiving a mixed reaction to her win.

An onlooker told the publication: "Holly picked up her award for Best Daytime and then left 30 minutes after. Normally she stays around for a drink with Phil and the team but she did an Irish exit."

Among the other stars partying was Olivia Attwood, whose feet appeared to be feeling the brunt of it by the time it was time to call it a night and head home to bed.

The blonde beauty was snapped in shoeless leaving the venue. With the pain perhaps kicking in, she seemed to have had enough, making her exit sporting a very solemn look.

Christine McGuinness, however, looked in a much chirpier mood after previously speaking about feeling anxious ahead of the awards.

The 34-year-old, who split from husband Paddy McGuinness earlier this year after 11 years of marriage, received a nomination for the pair's BBC documentary, Our Family and Autism.

"I'm really anxious. I'm quite nervous just because of everything - obviously it's not the best situation, but I haven't done anything wrong," Christine admitted when speaking ahead of the event on Thursday.

But the model was grinning from ear to ear as she exited looking stunning without a hair out of place.

Love Island winners Ekin-Su and Davide looked super glamourous as smiled for the cameras, while Loose Women's Linda Robson looked happy with herself as she left the star-studded event - after refusing to clap Holly and Phil as they won their award earlier in the evening.

Blonde bombshell Antigoni Buxton continued to show her partying staying power seemed longer than her stint on the dating show as she took to Instagram to showcase her fun-filled night alongside Paige Thorne and Danica Taylor.

EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier continued to spark romance rumours with Danielle Howard, as the pair were filmed holding hands and snapped together at the star-studded event.

The BBC soap stars looked cosy as they both attended the National Television Awards together at the OVO Arena in London, with insiders claiming the rumoured hot new couple had spent the afternoon drinking together with their co-stars in a local pub nearby the arena.

Danielle, who plays Lola Pearce on the BBC soap, looked sensational as she attended the event stunning silk dress with a thigh high split, while the late Jade Goody's eldest son looked dapper in a smart black tuxedo - with his bow tie worn undone as he partied into the night.

"Bobby and Danielle walked separately from the rest of the EastEnders cast at times. They certainly looked comfortable in each other's company," an onlooker present at the star-studded event has told the Mirror - adding how the two soap stars looked cosy and in good spirits throughout the night.

Sports pundit Alex Scott looked delighted to enjoy a night out Thursday, after recently releasing a candid memoir, while pregnant Ashley James cradled her growing baby bump as she headed home.

As Phil enjoyed the after-parties with no Holly by his side, he took to social media to share a touching message for his absent co-host - sharing a sweet snap of himself and Holly embracing as they collected their latest award.

"I love you Holly Willoughby and our entire @thismorning family," Phil wrote in the post shared with his Instagram fans.

"Thank YOU for every single vote 'cos we love you most x."

Shortly before Phil's sweet message, Holly took to Instagram at around midnight to write: "Thank you… holy moly… we love you… @thismorning … you are the best team, you work so hard to make the show what it is… We want to thank each and every one of you for voting… you have made this night an absolute dream… thank you also @officialntas for having us… @joeldommett you are a class act."

The National Television Awards 2022 were originally due to take place on September 15 but were put on hold as a mark of respect following the death of the Queen.

The Masked Singer's Joel Dommett hosted the long-awaited ceremony for the second time, with Martin Lewis making a dig at the government as he picked up his award for TV Expert, and Strictly Come Dancing's Anton Du Beke bagging Best TV Judge.

After a hugely exciting year of TV – which included the most-watched series of Love Island, the final series of Peaky Blinders, and some eye-opening documentaries from stars including Tom Parker's wife Kelsey Parker, and Katie Price - the most famous faces on TV made up for lost time as they dressed to impress for the exciting night.
