Olivia Attwood answers I'm A Celebrity return rumours and admits she's too sad to watch

Olivia Attwood has shared all the details from her shock I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! exit.

The reality TV star, 31, spoke with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning earlier today and revealed exactly how she would have handled Matt Hancock's arrival in camp had she not been forced to quit the jungle.

Olivia admitted how 'you have to be careful' when tackling tough subjects around the camp, but confessed she would have given the former health secretary 'some stick' as she opened up about her brief stint on the ITV show.

The former Love Island star also touched on the pregnancy rumours that hit social media amid her shock exit and teased a possible return to the jungle one day in the future.

The Love Island star spoke out over the weekend after leaving the camp last week, just 24 hours after becoming part of the ITV hit series – revealing she "cried" when she was told she couldn't return.

Olivia exited Brisbane airport within hours and then jetted into Manchester earlier this week after dramatically being forced to withdraw on medical grounds.

Speaking with Holly and Phil this morning, Olivia addressed the false rumours attached to her early exit.

" Olivia Attwood pregnant was trending on social media - I can assure you it's not that," the star explained on the This Morning sofa.

She continued: "It's not that exciting I can promise you that. The results came back that my iron was low... all the markers you can look for were low.

"I went to A&E on the back of those readings where they re-run the tests and they came back normal!"

Olivia went on to explain how she felt 'confused' during the hospital dash as she felt 'healthy' and admitted it's harder to process her exit due to feeling fine.

As Holly and Phil quizzed her about her motivations for signing up for a stint in the jungle, the reality TV star admitted she had 'something to prove' by appearing on I'm A Celebrity.

She explained how it may seem self-indulgent but she had been looking forward to being exposed to a new audience and showing a different side of herself to TV viewers.

The star then admitted she hasn't been watching much of I'm A Celebrity following her departure from camp and return home - confessing it's all quite 'sad' given her dramatic exit.

The This Morning presenters then asked the star if she would be willing to fly Down Under once again and have another go at the experience.

Olivia didn't give a definite answer as she replied to Holly and Phil - citing logistical issues and prior filming commitments as reasons why she may be unable to return - but admitting she would 'love to' head into the jungle again possibly.

The star's exit from I'm A Celebrity last week came just days before controversial late addition to the line-up Matt Hancock entered the camp alongside Seann Walsh.

Asked how she would have handled camping with the former health secretary, Olivia explained: "You have to be careful.

"I would have done things with humour and given him a bit of stick."

She then went on to add how Mr Hancock's reality TV venture 'isn't funny' for many across the country, given his failings in government during the Covid-19 pandemic.

"If you've lost a relative it's not funny," Olivia declared when chatting on the This Morning sofa.

She recalled how many British people couldn't say goodbye to their loved ones while Mr Hancock was 'snogging the face off' one of his colleagues.

Mr Hancock was forced to resign as health secretary in June 2021 after breaking Covid-19 lockdown rules by conducting an affair in his ministerial office with aide Gina Coladangelo while social distancing rules were in place.

Pals of Olivia's have previously hinted the reality TV star would have been fuming with Mr Hancock's hypocrisy during the Covid-19 pandemic and multiple national lockdowns, in which the MP for West Suffolk broke the social distancing rules created and enforced by his own party.

Like many brides-to-be across the country, Olivia was forced to alter her wedding day plans in 2020 thanks to lockdowns and restrictions regarding how many guests could be present to watch her tie the knot with footballer fiance Bradley Dack.

"Olivia would have gutted Hancock like a fish in the jungle," a pal of Olivia's was overheard saying at a recent event – adding how the reality TV star had already spent thousands of pounds on her special day before having to cancel it in 2020.

Olivia had been tipped to do well in the jungle prior to her shock early exit, with bookies backing her to make it all the way to the final of the ITV show.

I'm a Celebrity fans were gutted on last week as Olivia was spotted flying home to England, with ITV confirming after the star left the camp for precautionary medical checks it was deemed 'not safe' for the former Love Island star to continue her Australian adventure.

A spokesperson on behalf of Olivia went on to post a statement on the star's Instagram page, in which it was promised viewers would 'hear the truth from Olivia in due course' regarding her mysterious exit from the reality TV show.

It was then claimed the former TOWIE star had been pulled off the show due to breaking the Covid-19 bubble, but Olivia's friends quickly shut that theory down.

* This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV and ITVHub
