Tottenham’s Oliver Skipp was injured on international duty with England’s U21s

Skipp, who has started all three League matches this season, hopes the injury is not as bad as first feared but he will be thoroughly assessed by Spurs on Thursday afternoon, with the club unlikely to take any chances with the 20-year-old.
Heung-min Son will also be assessed later on Thursday after returning to the UK on Wednesday night having suffered a calf injury on international duty with South Korea.
Ryan Sessegnon is already out of the visit to Selhurst Park after feeling his problematic hamstring in England U21 training and withdrawing from the squad.
Spurs will be missing South American trio Davinson Sanchez, Giovani Lo Celso and Cristian Romero who are training in Croatia to avoid having to quarantine on their return from red-list countries.
Steven Bergwijn finished the Netherlands' win over Turkey on Tuesday with an ice pack on his left foot and could also be assessed before Thursday afternoon's training session.
