Oliver Skipp and Ryan Sessegnon are part of my Tottenham plans, says new head coach Nuno Espirito Santo

Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo has told Oliver Skipp and Ryan Sessegnon they have the chance to be part of his plans this season.

Nuno has just taken charge at Spurs and is moulding his squad ahead of the new season.

Youngsters Sessegnon and Skipp are currently training with the first-team squad after impressing out on loan last season.

And asked if they will be in his plans, Nuno replied: “Every player of the squad is in my plan, every player, every player.

“Even the Under-23s that a working with us are in my plans, because this is how we build a strong group. Everybody is going to be needed.”

Tottenham kick off their pre-season on Saturday with a friendly against Leyton Orient, but asked if he has big squad to pick from, Nuno said: “Unfortunately, no.

“I wish I had more. We have to mix. We have to wait for the international players to return.

“But we are working with the Under-23s and we are balancing things so we can measure the time of the game and not put anyone in danger, because it has been a hard week of training sessions.”
