Oliver Glasner has warned Crystal Palace risk getting off to another slow start this season if they leave their transfer business until the end of the window.
Palace have made just two new signing this summer and Glasner says he was promised the club would be more active in the market.
Glasner wants to build on last season’s FA Cup win but the only arrivals so far have been left-back Borna Sosa for £3million and back-up goalkeeper Walter Benitez on a free transfer.
The Eagles also have rivals clubs interested in Eberechi Eze, Adam Wharton and Marc Guehi.

Palace were winless in their first eight Premier League games last season after doing the bulk of their business late and Glasner has warned “another false start is possible”.
“Even though all the players are still here, we haven’t made the most of the transfer window so far. I was promised that we would be more active and bring in the new players earlier this year," Glasner told Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung.
“As of now, I have 17 outfield players. I hope we don’t lose any more. If that happens and we get four new ones on deadline day like last year, another false start is possible.”
Palace's transfer plans have been complicated by the fact that they still do not know whether they will be playing in the Europa League or the Conference League next season.
The club have appealed the decision to demote them to the Conference League due to a breach of UEFA's multi-club ownership rules, and the uncertainty has not helped.
Eze has been linked Arsenal, while Guehi has long been a target for Liverpool. Wharton has been linked with Spurs.
