New signing Oliver Antman could be registered in time to play in Rangers' huge Champions League qualifier against Viktoria Plzen.

The 23-year-old has joined the Ibrox club on a four-year-deal from Eredivisie outfit Go Ahead Eagles.

The winger has signed for a fee of around £3m, although, the agreement could rise to £4m.

The Finn was only officially announced by the Scottish Premiership giants this afternoon, becoming Russell Martin's ninth summer addition.

The first leg of the third round UCL qualifier takes place at Ibrox tomorrow evening on Tuesday, August 5 at 7.45pm.

It remains to be seen whether or not he and fellow new attacker Mikey Moore could feature.

However, providing an update on his squad ahead of tomorrow night, head coach Martin pointed out that Antman could be involved.

He said: "Thelo [Aasgaard] and Hamza [Igamane]won't make it in time for tomorrow evening.

"Hopefully, Antman will be registered in time, but we'll need to wait and see."

Squads need to be submitted by clubs to UEFA by 11pm UK time tonight.
