Olin Kreutz, Charles Tillman among former Bears nominated for Pro Football Hall of Fame

The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced its modern-era nominees for the Class of 2021 on Wednesday, and several former Chicago Bears made the list.

In total, six former Bears were nominated.

The headliners of the group include linebacker Lance Briggs, center Olin Kreutz, and cornerback Charles Tillman. All three played a significant role in the Lovie Smith-led Bears which ultimately earned a trip to Super Bowl XLI.

Other past Bears to make the cut include wide receiver Mushin Muhammad, guard Ruben Brown, and defensive end Jared Allen.

The full list of nominees, which includes first-timers Peyton Manning and Charles Woodson, is available via the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
