Scotland striker Oli McBurnie is reportedly a target for Rangers this summer after a disappointing campaign at Sheffield United.
The 24-year-old moved to Brammall Lane from Swansea for a whopping £20million as the Blades looked to take on the English Premier League in 2019.
Following the big money move he has only netted seven times for the club and couldn't help them avoid the drop this season scoring just once.
The attacker has been a regular for Scotland as they reached Euro 2020 but will not make the tournament having picked up a metatarsal knock.
The boyhood Rangers fan is being linked with an eight-figure move to Ibrox by The Daily Mail as he looks to kick-start his career following relegation.
They report that McBurnie "is thought to be valued at around £15million" and is a target of Steven Gerrard as he looks to add to his attacking options.
McBurnie has previously opened up on a transfer meeting with Gerrard and Gary McAllister before he left Swansea, and admitted he would love the switch.
He told he told Open Goal previously: "I think I will (move to Rangers one day). There’s been a couple of times where we’ve been close before.
"I don't know If I am allowed to say this but f*** it. I met Stevie G and Gary Mac in Dubai the summer that they got the job.
"When I walked out that room I rang my agent and said 'I want to play for him. It's f***ing Stevie G, it's Rangers '.
"Things happen. You know what football is like mate, and I ended up signing a new deal at Swansea and ever since then it's been a bit financially out of the question."
