Oleksandr Usyk's wife takes aim at Tyson Fury with 'Grim Reaper' message

Oleksandr Usyk's wife Katerina has sent a 'Grim Reaper' warning to Tyson Fury, insisting he will lose their heavyweight fight.

The Ukrainian star is set to be handed the chance to make history if he takes omn WBC champion Fury in a shot for the undisputed heavyweight crown on April 29 at Wembley Stadium. Although the fight is yet to be confirmed, Fury announced that he will go in a social media blackout for the contest, with Usyk hoping he can become the first man to beat the 'Gypsy King' as well as the first undisputed champion of the decision since 1999.

Both Usyk and Fury have been sending each other verbal barbs via social media this week as their rivalry heated up with negotiations going down to the wire. And in a fresh message aimed at Usyk's upcoming test, his wife Katerina has posted a picture of her husband's recent wins in a Grim Reaper format on her Instagram story.

The picture shows Usyk in the suit having taken out Tony Bellew, Derek Chisora, recent two-time rival Anthony Joshua and is then after Fury with his axe. Despite the family member's message, Fury will go into the event as the marginal favourite given his experience in the top division.

However the former cruiserweight champion has proven that he is capable of mixing it with the best last year after outpointing Joshua in a rematch in Saudi Arabia. Many questioned whether Usyk's size would see him unable to compete with the top fighters, but his wins likely see him pose the sternest examination to Fury.

Fury announced he would begin training camp just six weeks out from the bumper clash in a video poking fun at his rival on Instagram. He shouted during a video from his gym: "Hi guys, as fun as it's been over the last few days terrorising Usyk and his team, tomorrow I'm gonna knuckle down into training camp and I'll be doing a blackout as I always do on social media.

"April 29 is definitely a worker, I will see you all on the night. Tune in, or be there or be square. This is the biggest fight in British boxing history, the fight of the century. Two undefeated world heavyweight champions throwing down to see who is the No 1 in the division - the undisputed heavyweight championship on the line. Peace out, good training to Usyk... let the best man win."

He then added in the caption: "I only came back on Instagram to make the fight and it worked. I have been off it since October 22, came back on for four days and made the biggest fight in boxing history. April 29 Wembley Stadium."
