Oleksandr Usyk's plan to 'restore order' vs Tyson Fury after defeating Anthony Joshua

Oleksandr Usyk's manager has detailed the Ukrainian's plan to defeat Tyson Fury if the pair square-up against one another in 2022.

Usyk is set to go toe-to-toe with Anthony Joshua once again next year in a rematch of their bout in September, a clash that acts as the final hurdle before a unification bout.

Fury has a hurdle of his own to overcome in the form of Dillian Whyte but he's widely expected to beat his fellow Brit, opening the doors for the unification fight that fans have been craving.

Given the manner of Usyk's victory over Joshua the first time out, he's the favourite to win once again to retain the three belts his took from the clutches from his fellow 2012 Olympian.

That would set-up a unification bout with Fury later in the year, another fight that's expected to be followed by a rematch, and Usyk has a plan.

“As for a potential fight with Fury. Fury has an advantage in size, and he is mobile and fast for a boxer with his size, but there is one thing," Usyk's manager Sergey Lapin told MyBettingSites.

"The biggest problem with these huge heavyweights is their condition in 12-round confrontations. The pace of the fight that Oleksandr sets, the huge heavyweights of today will not be able to stand.

"Technically, it will be very interesting. Tyson Fury has a very uncomfortable boxing technique, but in order for Fury to deliver his series of blows, he will need to spend a lot of effort, and this will be his undoing.

"Ultimately the weight and height advantage in this fight does not matter for Oleksandr Usyk, he adapts to any opponent.

"Observers of world boxing will soon see how Oleksandr Usyk will restore order in the heavyweight division.”
