Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told how to get best out of Diogo Dalot at Manchester United

Manchester United Treble-winner Wesley Brown has had his say on which position he believes Diogo Dalot is best deployed in.

The Portuguese defender has lined up in a variety of positions since joining United from Porto last summer.

Dalot was signed as right-back but he has featured at left-back and on the right and left wings during his debut campaign in England.

He has started each of United's last three games in all competitions and is expected to retain his place in the line-up when the Reds face Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

With Luke Shaw suspended Dalot could start at left-back, although there is the option for Ashley Young to move over there and open up the space for the 20-year-old to line up on the right.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has implemented a three-at-the-back formation on several occasions since taking over from Jose Mourinho in December and Brown believes that may be the formation that best suits Dalot.

"He probably is a wing-back," Brown told  MUTV. "His attacking ability is very good, he doesn’t seem under pressure and he gets good balls into the box.

"I haven’t seen anyone really get at him yet defensively, but because he has been so good attacking wise, Ole prefers him a little higher."
