Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told his Man Utd side are "too easy" to play against

Manchester United are "too easy" to play against according to Micah Richards who feels as if the Red Devils are "vulnerable" in big games.

Pressure is mounting on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following a poor start to the season with United losing their last two games.

The latter of those was against European minnows Istanbul Basaksehir who recorded a 2-1 win in Turkey.

United's defence came in for huge criticism given the nature of the goals they conceded.

And while Solskjaer has overseen some impressive results, Richards feels as if they can be got at by the better teams.

He wrote in the Daily Mail : "I’m most certainly not saying they need to get rid of Solskjaer because I would never advocate a manager being sacked.

"I’ve seen it happen too often and I know the upset it causes. But my hope is that Solskjaer delivers home truths to some of the squad.

"Watching United in Istanbul, I once again felt that too many players were operating within themselves.

"Take Nemanja Matic, a former Premier League winner at Chelsea. Isn’t a player of his calibre and experience the one who should be setting standards?

"How, then, did United concede a goal like the one Demba Ba helped himself to with a clear run from the halfway line? I’ll say it again: no competent team should ever concede in that manner.

"But that is too often the thing about United now — it is just too easy to play against them.

"Yes, they have shown flashes when they look brilliant, such as how they took RB Leipzig apart, but it is the tough matches, such as Saturday's trip to Everton, when you know they are vulnerable."

United have not won in any of their Premier League games at Old Trafford so far this term.

They have an impressive away record however and travel to Everton looking to record a first domestic win in three games.
