Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Manchester United have two new Premier League players

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Manchester United have gained two new Premier League players in James Garner and Brandon Williams following their impressive display against FK Partizan in midweek.

Both teenagers impressed as they started the Europa League victory in Serbia on Thursday night and Solskjaer admits he was blown away by how the duo handled the occassion.

Williams played a pivotal part in securing the win when he was tripped in the box to secure the pivotal penalty which Anthony Martial coolly dispatched.

The young pair will now be looking to build upon their impressive starts when United face Norwich in the Premier League this weekend, and Solskjaer insists he'd have 'no doubts' about starting either of them at Carrow Road.

“You don't get the atmosphere we faced in Belgrade when you play in the Premier League and I think players like Brandon and Jimmy will have grown many centimetres in confidence in those 90 minutes," the United manager told The Mirror.

“If they can perform like they did in front of such an intimidating crowd then they won't have any problems going anywhere in England.

“It was as loud and as hostile as it gets - but it didn't faze them one bit.

“But that's part of the learning curve we are on as a team.

“I really believe that we have gained two Premier League players in Belgrade - and I won't have any doubts about playing them at Norwich.”
