Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer aimed a cheeky dig at former team-mates Roy Keane and Gary Neville.
The Red Devils boss was asked if he had a message for the pair, who are now known for appearing as pundits on Sky Sports.
Neville and Keane have been outspoken about Solskjaer and United during the Norwegian’s rollercoaster two years at the club.
But Solskjaer was mostly gracious when given a chance to hit back at the pair, until he made one last brilliant comment regarding their own managerial records.
“They know the demands of Man United, the standards that we set,” he told Sky Sports when asked what he made of Neville and Keane’s opinions.
“So when they get angry with us, that’s fine, that’s just their jobs.
“They’ve both been managers, so they know the standards here, and they know the demands of a manager, so they know what we’re going through every single day.
“How successful they’ve been… they know themselves.”
Of course, Neville has only held one post in his managerial career, at Valencia, where he was sacked with the La Liga side lying down in 14th.
Meanwhile, Keane has taken jobs at Sunderland and Ipswich in the past, but his volatile personality led to fractured relationships with the former and poor results cost him with the latter.
Solskjaer was also asked who was more vocal out of Keane and Gary Neville during their playing days.
And he joked back: “We listened more to Roy than we did to Gary, that’s for sure!
“Gary was always talking too much, and he still does. That’s just Gary and we’ve got used to it.
“He’s got good opinions, and both of them were very vocal. But if there’s one you wouldn’t go against, it’s Roy Keane.”
