Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United masterstroke hailed as Darren Fletcher lauds match-winning decision

Darren Fletcher credited Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's second-half switch as the catalyst for Manchester United 's dramatic victory over Paris Saint-Germain.

Marcus Rashford lashed home a late Champions League winner for Solskjaer's side after Anthony Martial's own goal cancelled out Bruno Fernandes' penalty opener.

PSG's second-half equaliser - in off Martial's head from a corner - looked to have turned the tide but a tactical switch from the United boss stopped the home team in their tracks.

Solskjaer flung on Paul Pogba, switched to 4-3-3 and put his men back on the front foot.

And former Old Trafford star Fletcher insists the manager deserves huge credit for his big call.

He told BT Sport: "They started off with a back five and it worked to perfection with two strikers.

"Second half, Paris Saint Germain really came into the game and started creating chances, although we still looked solid.

"Once they got the equaliser you felt PSG would maybe go on and win the game but Ole quickly shifted from a back four and went to 4-3-3.

"Off the back of that, United were actually the better team and PSG stopped creating chances.

"The momentum was all in United's favour and they go on and win the game with a fantastic goal from Marcus Rashford.

"Credit to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, tactically spot on tonight."
