Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reveals what Manchester United fans are telling him

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has praised the supporters for their positivity amid the club's recent run of disappointing results.

Solskjaer and his players have been subjected to some criticism online after a spell of poor form but the Norwegian has insisted supporters are positive when they meet him in person.

Matchgoers have also backed the manager and his team at Old Trafford - which hasn't gone unnoticed by Solskjaer.

"Very, very positive," Solskjaer said of his interactions with United supporters. "And, 'we can see what you're doing, keep going'. It's easy to be positive when you meet someone face-to-face, it's easy to hide behind social media when [you're] negative.

"I've been amazed again by our supporters, to listen to the crowd at Old Trafford, they're amazing. They keep supporting us, we are going through a leaner patch, trophy-wise, and the results the last few games.

"In my own words: It's a team improving, evolving, a young team. The culture is there. We see them every single day in training, no attitudes with work-rate, desire.

"Now can we trust ourselves. You can see against Astana and Rochdale they want to impress, do well and maybe they rush their finishing at times."
