Ole Gunnar Solskjaer responds to Man Utd transfer links to Erling Braut Haaland

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has refused to be drawn on a move for Norwegian starlet Erling Braut Haaland.

Haaland, 19, is continuing to shine with Red Bull Salzburg having already scored 20 times this season.

He added to his tally by scoring twice in the defeat to Napoli in the Champions League in midweek.

Haaland's form has led to speculation over a big-money move, with United boss Solskjaer having worked with the teenager during his time with Molde.

But following his side's win over Partizan Belgrade, Solskjaer remained coy on any potential links.

"I don't think it's the time now for me to talk about other teams' strikers," said Solskjaer.

"I spoke about Harry Kane yesterday and Erling today, I don't think it's right for me."

Solskjaer's comments come after he was forced to address speculation over a move to England captain Kane.

Roy Keane urged his former teammate to try and sign the Tottenham talisman to solve his side's goalscoring woes.

"Go and get Kane from Spurs. Easy, just go and get him. He'd score 20 goals a season for you with his eyes closed," said Keane.

In response to Keane's advice, he said: "Roy is quite straightforward isn’t he.

There’s the Kanes and the Lewandowski’s and ours are different types of players but I like someone who can finish half a chance and he’s one of the best but he’s a Tottenham player.

"Getting Anthony back will be a massive boost for us and that will help Marcus too. I’m looking forward to the next few weeks with the forwards we have."
