Ole Gunnar Solskjaer responds to Jose Mourinho Manchester United comments

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Jose Mourinho is 'entitled to his opinion' following his latest scathing comments regarding Manchester United.

The former United manager was in the Sky Sports studio on Sunday afternoon as he analysed their embarrassing defeat against West Ham at the London Stadium.

After the match Mourinho claimed United had not progressed since he left the club and questioned why United fallen to an away defeat against West Ham for the second season in a row.

Mourinho said on Sky Sports: "Any positives? No. We were bad last season, but I don’t see any improvements this season. I like the three (signings), they bring some good quality to the team. The team as a team, I don’t like at all. I’m not surprised by the result.”

Goals from Andriy Yarmolenko and Aaron Cresswell sealed the victory for the home side at the weekend, and after the match Solskjaer was asked about Mourinho's latest comments.

"I think he has got a right to his opinion," Solskjaer told the press. "Of course we lost here last year, it is always a difficult ground to go to we and we should hope do better than we did.

"We hope for better but the key moments they grasped, we didn't. Two fantastic finishes, and we just didn't take the chances when we had them."
