Ole Gunnar Solskjaer outlines the areas where Man United have to be strong vs Crystal Palace

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that his side face a 'tough' test when they come up against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford tomorrow (Saturday).

The Red Devils have won and drawn their opening two games of the season, beating Chelsea 4-0 before drawing 1-1 with Wolves in their last outing, while Palace will be looking for their first win of the season after a 0-0 draw with Everton was followed by a 1-0 loss to newly promoted Sheffield United in their last outing.

But, Solskjaer has insisted that Man United will have to be at their best if they wish to take all three points from the encounter.

"It’s gonna be a tough game as all these games in the Premier League are, every single one they give you a different challenge and of course they’re a very well organised team," he said in his pre match press conference, as reported by the Manchester Evening News .

"They’ve pace up front, good counter attacks, big on set pieces and we have to do all parts of the game, have to attack well, win the ball back when we lose it and we’ve got to be strong on set plays."

Mancester United's last outing saw Paul Pogba missed a crucial penalty, leading to criticism over how the team choose who takes penalties, but Solskjaer has claimed that it is not solely down to the players to choose.

"It’s not that I’ve left it to the players, we’ve nominated two and throughout the season you’ll have games where they are not playing and it’s good to know they’re there and trusted to take penalties.

"It’s not like anarchy and they can do whatever they want, we have a few, last year we had Marcus, Jesse and Paul, it’s not left to them."
