Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given goalkeeper Dean Henderson the green light to return to Sheffield United next season.
Henderson, 22, was a key member of the Blades’ promotion-winning side and the on-loan goalkeeper played in all 46 Championship matches under Chris Wilder.
Wilder would love to have Henderson back for their return to the Premier League and Solskjaer says he is willing to let him sign on loan for next season.
Solskjaer is pleased with Henderson’s development at Bramall Lane and feels he would benefit from playing a season in the top flight.

“Let’s see what we do with Dean,” said the United boss. “He obviously won promotion with Sheffield United and that’s been fantastic for him.
“If he plays a year in the Premier League, for him that might be the best thing.”
Henderson is keen to remain at Bramall Lane to continue playing first-team football in the Premier League.
Wilder is also considering re-signing striker Scott Hogan on loan from Aston Villa, even though he only managed one goal for the Blades in his four-month spell at Bramall Lane.
The United manager rates Hogan and feels he could provide back up for Billy Sharp and David McGoldrick in the Premier League.
Wilder is keen to boost his striking options and is also looking at Brentford’s Neal Maupay and Swansea’s Oli McBurnie.
