Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is intent on bringing Red Bull Salzburg star Erling Haaland to Manchester United.
The Norwegian has been tracking his compatriot's progress this season as he looks to bolster his forward options.
Haaland's 26 goals have attracted the interest of Juventus and Real Madrid as well as United.
And despite the Austrian side slapping a £75m price tag on their star man the Red Devils have not been put off with Ed Woodward making funds available, reports the Daily Mail .
Discussions have already been held at Carrington over how Haaland and current frontman Marcus Rashford could play together in United's attack.

A January deal looks difficult with Salzburg reluctant to let Haaland go midseason - especially if they remain in European competition.
United though are confident they can secure the 19-year-old's services in the summer with short-term options being discussed until then.
Roma's Edin Dzeko and Juventus outcast Mario Mandzukic are being considered with the latter ready to leave the Italian's in January, but they are not prepare to pay over the odds for strikers north of 30.

Alfe-Inge, Haaland's father and former Leeds and Manchester City star, is not keen on his son moving to England, but that hasn't stopped United readying a bid.
Haaland previously worked with Solskjaer at Molde before he made the switch to Salzburg for just £4.5m.
Despite the ever growing queue of teams eyeing him up it does look as if Red Bull Leipzig may be able to steal a march with a cut price deal.
The German side have the same owners as Salzburg which allows them to purchase the forward for less than half of the £75m price being touted.
A Leipzig chief said: "The boy is a very good player. Both in the league and in the Champions League, he does an exceptionally good job. Of course, we are already looking around for the summer. "
