Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has identified Manchester United's top transfer target for next summer's transfer window.
Red Devils boss Solskjaer is prepared to wait until next summer before bolstering his attacking line with Jadon Sancho his prime target, according to the Standard .
In recent weeks, Solskjaer has sanctioned moves away for Romelu Lukaku and most recently Alexis Sanchez which has left his attacking options short for the season.
Lukaku joined Inter Milan in a £73million deal earlier this month with Sanchez set to follow the Belgian to the San Siro in a loan deal.
In his first full season in charge, the Norwegian has only Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and youngster Mason Greenwood at his disposal.
While the latter likely to be used this week after Martial picked up a muscle injury, the 17-year-old is only really back-up .
United's move for Borussia Dortmund's Sancho was blocked this summer by the German Super Cup winners, who insisted he was not for sale.
Since the speculation over the summer, the England international has signed a new deal, keeping him at the club until 2022 which has doubled his previous wage .
However, the new contract hasn't seemed to have put United off.
Since bursting onto the scene in 2017, Sancho has made 59 appearances for Dortmund scoring 17 goals and notching 26 assists.
This season alone, the 19-year-old has scored and assisted two in the opening two games of the season.
