Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hopes Daniel James pace can expose Wolves after naming youngster in Man Utd XI

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hopes Daniel James' pace can expose Wolves after naming him in the starting XI tonight.

The former Swansea winger came off the bench to score on his debut against Chelsea in United's opening game of the season last Sunday but starts his first game for the club tonight.

He comes into replace Andreas Pereira in Solskjaer's only change from the thumping win over Chelsea.

The United boss told MUTV: "Dan has been impressive all pre-season, ever since he came in to club.

"We feel like tonight might be a game for him. His X-factor, pace getting in behind, stretching Wolves a bit."

James comes in to form a lightning quick front line alongside Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial.

Mason Greenwood offers support on the bench with fellow academy graduate Axel Tuanzebe again the manager's preferred defensive option in reserve.

Tuanzebe was selected on the bench against Chelsea as United's back-up centre-back with Phil Jones and Chris Smalling left out.
