Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted that a couple of other players could miss Manchester United's game against Tottenham after picking up knocks.
The United manager ruled Paul Pogba out of the clash against Jose Mourinho's side and also gave updates on Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matic in his press conference on Tuesday morning but has since suggested there could be another couple of players who miss Wednesday night's game.
"As I say, we have a couple of knocks and the players that have been out for a little while are touch and go as well," Solskjaer told MUTV.
The Norwegian could be making reference to Anthony Martial, who headed straight down the tunnel after he was brought off in the 82nd minute of United's draw against Villa, and there has been suggestions the Frenchman will sit out the Spurs game.
Speaking about the chances of McTominay and Pogba returning Solskjaer said: "Well, we will see how they are, I am not going to say yes or no. But it is touch and go with a couple, so we will have to give them a training session and see how they are, everyone.
"Of course, Sunday is also still in people's heads so it's not going to be a hard session, but we will have a good team out."
United will play with a back three, a system that worked well when Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool came to Old Trafford.
Solskjaer thinks the game has come at a perfect time after Sunday's disappointing draw against Aston Villa.
"We want big games and the next two games will be a great chance for us to turn things around," he said.
