Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gives team selection hint ahead of Fulham vs Manchester United

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doesn't plan to let three members of his side being on the verge of suspension impact his starting XI against Fulham.

Red Devils stars Bruno Fernandes, Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire are all at risk of picking up their fifth yellow card of the season and the clash with the Cottagers is their last before the threshold is raised to 10.

Fulham themselves, are all too aware of the danger after Bobby De Cordova-Reid picked up a one-match ban to miss the visit of United in his penultimate game.

However, Solskjaer sounds like he is willing to take the chance to start his best team.

He told the club website: "You just have to take one game at a time because if you leave them out for one game then they might as well get a suspension for one game.

"There are a couple of games to go until the amnesty comes in [after 19 games], but it’s not in my thoughts.”

It's clear the Norwegian coach respects the Whites' ability and he is expecting a difficult task at Craven Cottage.

He said: “Yes and they’re one of the hardest teams to create chances against and have shots against, that shows in the stats. Also when you look at them they’ve got that team shape and organisation that is always going to be hard to break down.

"I’ve got to say I’ve been impressed. They’ve turned it around. I think they’re a club that is really well coached and well managed. Around about the time when the transfer window closed they made some shrewd, very good signings and you can see they’ve got a settled team.

"They’re hard to beat and hard to break down. They have some quick and clever players with individual quality and you can also see the organisation and the work they do on the training ground with Scott [Parker]. The coaches must be a high level."
