Ole Gunnar Solskjaer drops Manchester United team hint ahead of Chelsea fixture

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says he 'more or less' knows his Manchester United line up for the opening fixture of the new Premier League season.

United begin the new campaign at home to Chelsea next weekend and will be looking to carry their fine run of form into the league season.

Solskjaer's side secured another victory on Saturday night as they defeated AC Milan on penalties following a hard fought encounter at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

United made three changes for the match following their midweek win against Kristiansund and Solskjaer now believes he has a good idea of which side he will deploy next weekend.

"I more or less know my team. There is still eight days, so you never know. Eight days is a long time in football," Solskjaer told MUTV.

United made it six wins from six with their victory against AC Milan on Saturday night, but Solskjaer knows there is plenty of hard work still to do if the club are to be a success next season.

The Norwegian added: "I think we have done well, we are working, it is a work in progress. It is not like today gave you a final answer where we are ready.

"We still have to work throughout the season and improve as every game goes on. But we are ready for the next game, we are all fit, raring to go and it will be a fantastic night at Old Trafford."
