Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said goodbye to Manchester United's players and staff following his sacking on Sunday morning.
Solskjaer's almost three-year reign at Old Trafford ended this weekend after United lost 4-1 against relegation candidates Watford.
The Norwegian had survived the Liverpool debacle and the Machester derby humiliation but Saturday's defeat was the final blow.
Solskjaer led United to a second-place finish in the Premier League and to the Europa League final last season, however, United have struggled for form this term and they find themselves 12 points adrift from the league leaders, Chelsea, after multiple poor results.
Solskjaer arrived at Carrington at 9am on Sunday and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward soon followed. The official announcement of Solskjaer's sacking came at 10.30am, but the outgoing United boss didn't leave the complex until 2pm.
Woodward left Carrington before Solskjaer, which was ahead of him bidding his farewells to his players.
It's understood that Solskjaer spent time saying his goodbyes to players and staff.
Paul Pogba and Edinson Cavani weren’t there due to injury.
