Ole Gunnar Solskjaer cast doubt over Mason Greenwood's future at centre-forward as he discussed the Englishman's best position for Manchester United.
Greenwood, 19, has predominantly been used as a right-winger this season to allow Edinson Cavani to play in the No.9 role.
The Three Lions starlet has clearly been more effective out wide, picking up 13 of his 16 goals or assists this season when he has been deployed on the flank.
Nonetheless, many believe Greenwood's long-term future is as a striker - including the teenager himself - especially given Cavani is out of contract this summer.
But Solskjaer harbours doubts over whether Greenwood is willing to "stick his head in there" and throw his weight around as Cavani does so effectively.

"The Liverpool game was going to be his 100th game and we spoke about getting the winner in that," Solskjaer told reporters ahead of United's tie with Roma.
"We've spoken about whether he's going to be wide right, or be a No.9, because you've got to stick your head in there.
"He's a pretty boy and I'm not sure if he's going to do that.

"Keep doing what he does, he's got a very bright future, I'm sure of that."
Greenwood came off the bench to score in United's 6-2 thrashing of Roma in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final last week.
He also has four goals in his last four Premier League appearances and will hope to start Thursday's second leg at Stadio Olimpico.
Meanwhile, Solskjaer also provided an update on Cavani's contract situation, with the Uruguayan free to depart at the end of next month unless he agrees to activate a one-season extension at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils boss added: "We've had some good chats lately and even though the decision is still in his court, I'm still hopeful.
"And maybe even more so when you saw him on Thursday against Rome, and telling him 'when you do that in front of the Stretford End, that's magic'."
