Oldham Athletic boss Harry Kewell on facing 'flying high' Bolton Wanderers

Oldham Athletic boss Harry Kewell believes his Latics side will face a Bolton Wanderers side 'flying high' after their recent winning run.

Wanderers travel to Boundary Park this evening on the back of a five-match winning run in League Two and seven unbeaten which has taken them into the play-offs.

Kewell's side also go into the encounter following a victory, a 3-1 win on the road over the weekend over Carlisle United.

Oldham sit 15th in the table heading into this evening's game and have the opportunity to do the double over Bolton after winning the reverse fixture in October.

Zak Dearnley netted a late stoppage time winner from a counter attack after Nathan Delfouneso had earlier cancelled out Ben Garrity's opener at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Kewell admits it was a 'fantastic result' his side picked in an evenly matched encounter earlier this campaign.

Though he is wary of Wanderers' recent winning form, he believes his Latcis team can challenge them this evening in what he feels will be an 'exciting' game.

He told BBC Radio Manchester: "I always want more. I think in football you should always want to keep pushing the boundaries and see how far your boundaries can expand to.

"It was a fantastic result that we got there. I felt the game was evenly matched. I think we had one or two more shots but they had a bit more possession.

"They're coming here tomorrow night after five wins in a row so they're going to be flying high. We've come here off a good win, a little bit of inconsistency, but I feel we can give them a good challenge and I think it's going to be an exciting game."
