Two Jack and Victor types caused fury by stripping starkers on a promenade.
The overweight pensioners had gone for a dip in the icy sea.
They spent around four minutes swimming and frolicking in waves crashing on to Prestwick beach.
But once back ashore they pulled their trunks off in full view of customers having a coffee at a beachfront cafe.
Cafe boss Filippo Mancini blasted: “This was shocking behaviour.
“They were drying off standing completely naked.
“Children could have been watching this. It is not good enough.”
Stunned customers got more than they bargained for when they saw the elderly men’s bottoms as the pair dried their private areas.
Furious Filippo is threatening to go to police with their car registration number, accusing them of public indecency.
The incident happened last Wednesday morning when temperatures were just above freezing point.
The pair arrived in a silver Mercedes, parking on the pavement at the shore wall.
They bolted into the sea and once finished they stood beside the vehicle and pulled down their shorts.
Filippo added: “The next time they should use the toilets to sort themselves out.
“My customers were disgusted by the view.
“Why on earth would two senior guys go into the sea on a day like that?
“It was Baltic and golfers even cancelled because of the frost.
“Yet they were right under the water and spent three or four minutes in the sea.
“Afterwards they stripped right off. That is not the type of view you want down the beach.
“The public toilet was open and just yards away.”
Filippo was unsure if there was a perverted sexual element to their display.
But one woman, Merlyn Holmes, added: “I can’t imagine there would be much to see, given the temperature of the water.”
