An Old Firm legend is coming to an Ayrshire town tomorrow for a special VIP visit and signing session.
Former Celtic skipper Danny McGrain MBE will meet and greet the fans at the Ayr We Go shop in Ayr’s Carrick Street.
McGrain, now 71, played a staggering 659 competitive games for Celtic between 1970 and 1987, winning seven League Championships, five Scottish Cups and two Scottish League Cups.
He is widely regarded as one of the finest right-backs this country has ever produced.
McGrain was also capped by Scotland 62 times.
Ayr We Go shop owner Steven Mackie said: “We’re delighted to host Celtic legend Danny McGrain on Saturday, where I’m sure he’ll get a great reception.
“Danny will be signing prints of himself for all the fans and this is sure to be a great day!”
Complimentary drinks will be provided to customers.
Danny will be at the shop between 1pm and 3pm (Saturday, April 2).
