Police have praised Old Firm fans for 'co-operation' after a relatively peaceful derby with just one arrest.
League champions Rangers beat Glasgow rivals Celtic 4-1 in the final clash between the two this season.
Just one arrest has been made today for what police described as a 'minor public order offence' outside Ibrox.
A top cop has heaped praised on supporters for staying away from the stadium and not gathering outside.
There have been a number of high profile incidents of fans gathering in large numbers outside the stadiums of both clubs this season- which has been unusual because of the coronavirus restrictions.
Thousands of Rangers fans lined the streets outside Ibrox after the Light Blues were crowned champions on March 7.
Celtic supporters too have gathered in large numbers previously outside Parkhead earlier in the year amid growing pressure on then boss Neil Lennon.
Senior political figures, including Nicola Sturgeon, and cops blasted the gatherings with the Scottish Government even raising the prospect of calling off the derby in future.
The game today was also a rare occasion this season of the match being held while pubs were legally allowed to be open.
Divisional commander for Greater Glasgow, Chief Superintendent Mark Sutherland, said today's match went off almost without a hitch.
"There were no issues in or around the stadium following the match at Ibrox this afternoon and I'd like to thank fans for their co-operation so far today, for staying away from the stadium and not gathering in large numbers.
"Officers will continue to support public spaces and licenced premises within the Glasgow area to make sure everyone enjoys their evening safely."
