Old Dumbarton Road police incident: Woman arrested after lockdown gathering in Glasgow's west end

A woman has been arrested after a lockdown gathering in the west end of Glasgow.

Several police vehicles were seen on Old Dumbarton Road earlier today after cops had been called to a 'report of loud music and a possible gathering' shortly after 11.30am.

The woman and two other men have also been reported for breaching covid lockdown restrictions.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of loud music and a possible gathering within a property on Old Dumbarton Road around 11.35am on Friday, 1 January.

"Officers attended and two men will be reported for breaching coronavirus restrictions.

"A woman was arrested and will also be reported in relation to the incident."
