Old Dublin church that looks very different on the inside is up for sale for just €250,000

Do you remember Sundays when you were shepherded into mass as a child? Do you recall genuflecting to the altar, smearing holy water on yourself and piling into a wooden pew?

Did you by any chance think to yourself ‘I think I would like to live here for the rest of my life?’.

If so, don’t we have the property for you!

This studio apartment on Bloomsfield Avenue in Dublin 8 is part of a small development inside what appears to be a converted church.

“St Kevins Church was built in 1883 and Gothic style features and distinctive colours make it a unique landmark in the south City Centre,” the listing, which is put forward by O’Connor Estate Agents, reads.

Period features, such as an imposing Church window and a stone arch, are the focal points of the space and would be perfect for living out your best Quasimodo fantasy.

We do have a few questions, however. Could we risk being struck by a bolt of lightning by vengeful, Old-Testament mode God himself if we commit a Biblical crime while living in this apartment?

Whatever the case, if you happen to have a spare €250,000 lying around, we feel like you should put in a bid on the novelty alone.

To pass up a chance like this would be a ... sin .
