OLB Chase Winovich misses practice with illness ahead of Week 15

The New England Patriots practiced without outside linebacker Chase Winovich on Wednesday, their second practice in preparation for the Indianapolis Colts in Week 15. He was absent with an illness.

Linebacker Ronnie Perkins (illness/ankle) was downgraded to a non-participant. Offensive lineman Yodny Cajuste missed his second straight practice with an illness. Quarterback Mac Jones was a full participant for the second straight day despite getting listed with a left thumb injury.

The following players were listed as limited: running back Damien Harris (hamstring), safety Adrian Phillips (knee), center David Andrews (shoulder), defensive lineman Christian Barmore (knee), linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley (ribs), running back Brandon Bolden (knee), offensive tackle Trent Brown (calf/wrist), kicker Nick Folk (left knee).

The Patriots and the Colts kick off on Saturday at 8:20 p.m. ET.
