Ola Solbakken rubs salt in Celtic wounds as Bodo Glimt hero roars he should have 'punished them more'

Bodo/Glimt goal hero Ola Solbakken insists the Norwegian champions should have scored more in their demolition of Celtic.

Ange Postecoglou 's side turned in two poor Europa Conference League performances as they crashed out of the competition 5-1 on aggregate.

It means the Premiership leaders focus turns to domestic matters having already dropped out of the Champions League and Europa League this term.

Despite a disappointing night for Celtic, Solbakken was keen to pile on the pain - insisting he should have had more than the one goal.

When speaking about the scale of the achievement for the minnows, he said: "Today's match is high on the list considering the time and where we stand.

"We have a lot to go on today, we won 5-1 overall. Still, I feel we should have punished them even more. But the performance over two matches is very good."

Solbakken also insists they quickly figured Celtic's plan at Parkhead as they completed the convincing win in the Arctic Circle.

Speaking post-match, the frontman continued: "Their principles are exactly the same (as at Celtic Park). They did the same as in the previous match.

"When we were in Glasgow I was very excited about where we were going, but I realised early on that we were doing well.

"Today I am not surprised. Today we could have been much better, despite the fact that it was a good match."
