Ola and James Jordan take daughter swimming after sharing worry over 'mum and dad bods'

Former Strictly Come Dancing professional Ola Jordan shared an adorable clip on Saturday of daughter Ella joining her and husband James in the swimming pool.

The 39-year old took to her Instagram Story to post the short video clip, which began with James encouraging their armband-wearing two-year old to take a step into the water.

Ola then posted still image of Ella and her Dad at the opposite end of the pool, along with the caption 'Enjoying the sun'.

James, meanwhile, took to his own Story to share a video of himself leading their only child on a march around their living room.

The pair sang 'The Bare Necessities' song as they watched Disney's The Jungle Book after they'd finished their swimming fun.

Yesterday Ola shared a photo of herself and her spouse by the same pool as a means of motivation to lose weight.

Appearing in the photo alongside her husband of 19 years, Ola donned a hot pink bikini set by the pool.

However, the star was clearly shocked by the size of her tummy, which forced her into writing: "Hi guys I wasn't going to post this picture but I've decided to because I'm horrified and so disappointed with myself and by posting it I'm hoping it will help motivate me to do something about it.

"Our friend took this snap of us yesterday trying to stay cool by the pool but OMG... it was a total shock to say the least! When did we get 'mum and dad bods'?"

She continued: "We know we're not in our best Strictly shape but hey that's what happens when you stop dancing for hours every day and have a baby (I just want to know James’ excuse).

"Stay cool everyone. I think I need to avoid the ice cream for a while! Couples That Eat Together Stay Together."

The couple welcomed Ella to the world in 2020 and she was born via a C-section.

Doctors had previously informed her she would be unable to give birth naturally due to recurring stress fractures in her hips caused by a lifetime of dancing and dieting.
