Okome sushi and ramen cafe is set to open in Shawlands, a new branch following in the footsteps of their successful Byres Road venue in Glasgow's west end.
Work is already to turn 1100 Pollokshaws Road, the former Polish Dairy near to Shawlands Cross, into a brand new Japanese cafe and takeaway.
An opening date has yet to be revealed at this stage, with the team behind Okome taking to Facebook earlier today to confirm: "Okome Shawlands Branch is coming soon. Thank you for all your support. We will meet you in the Southside soon."
Okome has become popular with westenders for its fantastically fresh sushi and lunch deals, while it also serves up delicious, hearty bowls of ramen and rice bowls.
