Oklahoma State slugger Samantha Show took the softball world by storm during the Women’s College World Series with her bravado and bat flips. Show has led the Cowgirls deep into the World Series both in the center circle and at the plate before the team bowed out on Friday.
Adding to her legend, Show’s Twitter location is set to “Big Baller Attitude” and in a profile piece on SB Nation, Show revealed how big of a fan of the Ball family she is.
“I’m a huge supporter of the Ball family. Lavar Ball and his attitude — the Big Baller way, just knowing you’re the best. That’s kind of how I’ve taken this year, just knowing that if I’m facing a batter that I’m better than them and when I’m in the box, I’m better than that pitcher. Reminding myself to be the best that I can be, and reminding myself to attack every day with confidence that no one is going to beat me at what I do.”
The Big Baller Brand hasn’t made ways into the softball game yet but Show might be the perfect gateway into the sport. BBB bats? BBB gloves? BBB batting gloves? BBB cleats actually sound the most likely of any. But imaging Show jacking a homer, bat flipping and rounding first with the BBB logo center screen on the camera.
