The Oklahoma City Thunder announced on Tuesday that they have recalled second-year forward Ousmane Dieng from the G League’s OKC Blue.
Dieng was assigned to the Blue on Jan. 19, as the 20-year-old has regularly played for them this season. It gives him a chance to get consistent playing time as he’s been outside of OKC’s rotation for most of the season.
In 12 games with the Blue, Dieng is averaging 15.6 points on 44.7% shooting, 6.5 rebounds and four assists. He’s shooting 24% from 3 on 4.2 attempts.
In 22 games with the Thunder, Dieng has averaged 4.2 points on 42.3% shooting, and 1.9 rebounds. The 20-year-old was drafted with the 11th pick in the 2022 NBA draft.
