The Oklahoma City Thunder announced on Monday that Lu Dort suffered a concussion during Sunday’s training camp practice and was placed under concussion protocol.
The Thunder will play the Denver Nuggets on Monday without Dort, who did not travel with the team.
There is no target date for Dort’s return to action. With the regular season starting in about two weeks (Oct. 19), Dort’s readiness for the opener is suddenly in doubt.
Dort is entering the first year of a five-year, $87.5 million deal he signed this past offseason. Dort is entering the fourth season of his NBA career after going undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft.
