The Oklahoma City Thunder announced on Friday that they had recalled third-year forward Aleksej Pokusevski from the G League’s OKC Blue.
With the Blue’s season concluding Thursday, it only made sense for Pokusevski to get recalled by the Thunder to join the team on its current road trip.

Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault hinted at this possibility earlier this week. Pokusevski has played in a handful of G League games over the last few weeks as he continues his return from a leg fracture he suffered in late December.
It’s unknown whether he’ll play anytime soon for the Thunder, but it’s good to see Pokusevski back after suffering the gruesome injury.
