Tiger King fan OJ Simpson gives verdict and names his top suspect

OJ Simpson is the latest famous face to become enthralled by Netflix's latest smash hit crime series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness.

After binging the seven-part show, The Juice took to Twitter to launch into an epic rant where he voiced his suspicions about animal rights activist Carole Baskin.

Since Tiger King's release this month, viewers have questioned whether Carol had anything to do with the disappearance of her husband Don Lewis.

Joining the debate, OJ shared a video of his musings to social media, as he filmed himself on his golf course sporting some blue latex gloves.

"Hey, Twitter world, it's yours truly, I just got back from the golf course...where I actually played pretty well," OJ began.

"Now it's back at home, back on the couch...back to television. Listen, so many people on my case asking me to watch some show called Tiger King.

"Well, yesterday I watched this show...and oh my god is America in this bad of shape. I watched about six episodes of this show and I couldn't believe what I was looking at. White people! What's with you and wild animals...leave those animals alone."

Agreeing with many viewers, OJ cried: "This show is crazy, but it's so crazy, you gotta keep watching."

He went on: "One thing I will say, there's not a shred of doubt in my mind...that...that's ladies husband is um...Tiger Shashimi right now...I'm just sayin'"

He then finished his video by telling his followers: "Take care, and I hope you find something better to watch."

OJ's post sparked a huge response with followers after he was previously acquitted in one of the biggest murder trials of the 90s.

The former sportstar was accused of murdering former wife Nicole Brown Simpson and he friend Ron Goldman. He was acquitted of the murders in criminal court but later found 'responsible' for their deaths in a civil trial in 1996.

After the series was released on the streaming service this month, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office announced this week it was taking another look at the case.

While Baskin has taken to the website of her cat sanctuary, Big Cat Rescue, to deny she has played any part in her husband's alleged death.

She also slammed the documentary makers in the process.

Carol said: "There are not words for how disappointing it is to see that the series not only does not do any of that, but has had the sole goal of being as salacious and sensational as possible to draw viewers," Baskin's statement reads. "As part of that, it has a segment devoted to suggesting, with lies and innuendos from people who are not credible, that I had a role in the disappearance of my husband Don in 1997."
