The Organization of Islamic Cooperation welcomed on Sunday the outcomes of the Jeddah Security and Development summit that was held on Saturday.

The leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GGC) countries, US President Joe Biden, Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi, Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi attended the landmark summit at the invitation of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The OIC General Secretariat praised the speeches delivered by the leaders at the summit, saying they accurately portrayed the crises in the region and the challenges it is facing.

It stressed its support for all Arab and international efforts aimed at achieving security, development and stability in the region.
