Tornadoes have ripped through Ohio, destroying buildings and causing injuries, according to reports.
They have been reported in the Ohio counties of Mercer, Darke, Miami and Montgomery, according to local news outlet WHIO TV7.
NBC4 reports that at least 12 people have been injured in Mercer County.
Tenley Taghi uploaded shocking footage online showing the devastation caused to her mother's home by a tornado in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio.

She told Mirror Online: "I saw the clouds spin backwards and the trees begin to sway uncontrollably and we took shelter.
"I was standing on the porch that is no longer standing. We took shelter right as the storm hit."
The 34-year-old said her neighbour's dad was injured when a street lamp smashed through his home.


She added: "Firefighters extracted him. Everyone else is okay but the street is destroyed.
"There were no sirens before we were hit. More people need to realize that when the news says shelter now, you do so immediately. Sirens or no."

Debris can be seen covering the ground next to damaged homes in the video.
The National Weather Service Wilmington Ohio Twitter account issued a warning about the Dayton tornado.
It tweeted: "You need to take cover right now on the north side of Dayton. This is a life threatening situation."


The account previously issued alerts about tornadoes around Dayton, describing the situation as 'extremely dangerous'.
Snow ploughs are being used to clear Ohio's roads of debris, following the tornadoes.
