Ohio State wrestling announces Big Ten Championship lineup

The 2019 Big Ten Wrestling Championships are set to take place this coming Saturday, and Ohio State will have a good shot to not only place a few guys, but to walk away with the team title.

All of the OSU wrestlers taking part in the tournament have winning records, and all have a chance to advance far into the bracket. And although the Buckeyes lost to both Michigan and Penn State in the regular season, because of the way things sort out, it could do what it did last year and win the Big Ten Tournament after failing to win the regular season crown.

The lineup was shared by Ohio State wrestling earlier today, and it is a formidable one.

The Buckeyes have legitimate contenders in the following weight classes: Joey McKenna (141), Micah Jordan (22-1), Myles Martin (17-0), and Kollin Moore (16-1). They should at least wrack up some team points in each.

Both Penn State and Michigan both bring deep and talented teams to Minneapolis as well, so it should be an extremely entertaining wrestling tournament. You’d have to give the edge to Penn State going in, but don’t count out the Buckeyes.
