Ohio State WR Parris Campbell to meet with Seahawks on pre-draft visit

The Seattle Seahawks are in need of more NFL draft picks and they just might be in need of wide receiver help as well.

With starter Doug Baldwin on the mend from his three offseason surgeries and his timeline for return still undetermined, the Seahawks could very well look to the draft to add the needed talent.

Seattle, however, only has four picks to play with so far – one in the first, third, fourth and fifth rounds. Missing that critical second-round selection could be cause to trade back from No. 21 overall.

Regardless, the Seahawks are doing their homework, hosting a number of prospects on pre-draft visits, including Ohio State wide receiver Parris Campbell, according to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network.

Campbell was linked to the Seahawks shortly after his pro day.

He has been widely projected as a late first round or second-round selection. Lance Zierlein of NFL.com compares Campbell to a young Percy Harvin.

The wide receiver could become an instant impact player for Seattle, coming off a year when he logged the most single-season catches in Ohio State history.

If the Seahawks are able to trade back after all, snagging Campbell in the second round is likely worth the effort.
