Ohio State women vs. Texas NCAA Tournament matchup: Lineups, injury reports and broadcast info

The Ohio State men’s basketball team may be in offseason mode already after falling to No. 2 seed Villanova in the round of 32, but the Buckeye women are still going strong in the Sweet 16. As the No. 6 seed, they will match up with No. 2 seed Texas in Spokane, Washington, Friday evening for a chance to go to the Elite 8.

It’s been a surprising and somewhat exhilarating season for the Ohio State women. They earned a share of the Big Ten regular-season title and punched their ticket to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2017 by beating a hot LSU team in Baton Rouge.

Standing in Ohio State’s way is a Texas squad that has won 13 in a row and has the talent to get to the Final Four. It’s a balanced bunch that can score from multiple spots on the floor.

Can Ohio State continue its dream season? We’ll have to find out. In the meantime, we know you’ll be searching for the game, and we’ve got everything you need to know to dial it up and watch.
