Yeah football season is coming up fast, but Ohio State is a university that prides itself in competing at the top level in other sports as well. On that note, the women’s soccer team is getting ready to kick off its campaign as well, and with it, the Big Ten has released its preseason soccer poll.
While Penn State tops the list, the Buckeye women aren’t far behind, checking in at No. 4 in the poll. Ahead of Ohio State? In addition to the Nittany Lions, it’s Rugters at No. 2, and Wisconsin at No. 3.
In addition to that, the Big Ten has recognized Alyssa Baumbick, Izzy Rodriguez, and Jordan Silkowitz as players to watch.
Ohio State kicks off its season Thursday, at home vs. Louisville at 7PM.
